Home Recording Studios – I want to see Yours!
Dear friends,
need your support for a new YouTube-series that will be featuring YOUR STUDIO! At least once a month I will be introducing 5 Home Recording Studios in detail, and the viewers from the community get to vote the winner from every episode.
There will be exciting prizes from different sponsors throughout the year, and the winner of each episode will receive MASTER FEEDBACK for one of his or her productions.
It’s not about the biggest or most expensive Home Recording Studio – I will do episodes of different categories so that everybody will get a fair chance to win. Categories might be “Bedroom Studios”, “Garage Studios”, “Laptop Studios”, “Analogue Console Studios” etc. – it’s always great to be able to learn from how others organise their recording workspace!
If you want to be part of it, please send me the following:
– 10 or more JPG-pictures of your Home Recording Studio
– make sure they are high resolution and high quality JPG-settings, at least 1920 x 1080 pixels (more is better!) and shot in broad daylight or with good lighting
– all pictures need to be shot in landscape mode
– treat the pictures so that they show your studio in its best condition, cleaned up and with the gear switched on so we can see all those shiny lights!
Include the following shots (please check my examples below):
1. Total view of your studio without chair – shot from behind the listening position.
2. Angled shot of your listening position with chair.
3. Your DAW-workstation with computer keyboard, mouse, screen or laptop.
4. Showing Cabling under or behind the DAW workstation.
5. Close up picture of your Audio Interface.
6. Showing the Cabling of your Audio Interface.
7. Close-up showing your Laptop or Desktop DAW Computer.
8. Close-up showing your Headphones.
9. Two or more close-up shots of other important gear you have, for example:
– Outboard Equipment
– Microphones
– Instruments
