Jemand stellt eine Maschine in den Raum, und auf einmal geht es nicht mehr um Klang. Es geht um Status. Um Rollen. Um die Frage, wer \u00fcberhaupt das Recht hat, sich \u201eMusic Producer&quot; zu nennen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bei KI-Musik passiert das gerade wieder.<\/p>\n<p>Bevor wir \u00fcber die fr\u00fchen 90er sprechen, kurz in die 80er&#8230; Ich als Teenager &#8211; Popmusik, Sampler, und Recording haben mich in dieser Welt sozialisiert. Da war der Fairlight CMI. Teuer, selten, sichtbar. Ein Instrument, das in den Studios stand, in denen Geld, Ambition und Pop-Zukunft zusammenkamen. Wer so eine \u201eWorkstation&quot; hatte, hatte nicht einfach mehr Sounds. Sound- und Drumland Berlin, Pariser Stra\u00dfe 9, Wilmersdorf. War das nicht Fairlight-Besitzer Reinhold Heil, der da zur T\u00fcr reinkam? Und eh ich mich versah, hatte ich selber verschiedene Sampler im Kinderzimmer. Nicht nur das Casio SK-1 aus dem Spielzeugladen, sondern die ersten AKAIs, Rolands, KORG-Sampler. Sie waren \u00dcberg\u00e4nge in eine andere Musiklogik.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Trevor Horn ist f\u00fcr diese Phase ein guter Anker. Seine Produktionen zeigen, wie sehr Pop in den 80ern schon aus Studio-Entscheidungen und Sampling-Denken bestand. Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Grace Jones, <em>Slave to the Rhythm<\/em>. Das war nicht Songwriting plus Aufnahme. Pop war immer auch Raum, Entscheidung und Studio.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Der Punkt: Schon vor KI war Pop nie die reine Auff\u00fchrung eines Songs. Pop war immer auch die Geschichte von Menschen, die neue Werkzeuge so benutzt haben, dass andere erst einmal irritiert waren.<\/p>\n<p>Dann kamen die DJs.<\/p>\n<p>In den fr\u00fchen 90ern war der Raum wieder verschoben. Cubase war da, Sampler waren da, DAT-Recorder standen in Projektstudios und auf Tischen neben Maschinen, die f\u00fcr die alte Generation noch nach Zukunft rochen. Pro Tools kam, Sequencer wurden normaler. Musik musste nicht mehr aus der reinen Band- oder Studiomusiker-Logik entstehen.<\/p>\n<p>Und vergessen wir nicht Dr. Gerhard Lengeling. Schon in den 80ern baute er f\u00fcr den Commodore C64 die beste MIDI-Software \u00fcberhaupt, sp\u00e4ter gr\u00fcndete er Emagic und erfand Logic. Seine Ex-Firma sitzt heute noch in Rellingen bei Hamburg, geh\u00f6rt seit Anfang der 2000er zu Apple und entwickelt von dort Logic Pro und GarageBand weiter. Auf praktisch jedem Mac und iPad zu finden. Pop, geschrieben in einem Vorort von Hamburg.<\/p>\n<p>Der DAT-Recorder ist als Bild gut, weil er nicht nach Mythos klingt. Kein goldener Vintage-Synthesizer, den man heute romantisiert. Eher dieses harte, praktische \u00dcbergangsobjekt: digital, handlich, ernst genug f\u00fcr echte Master-Tapes, die ich mit gro\u00dfem Stolz an Sony Music oder Polydor \u00fcbergab. Gleichzeitig unspektakul\u00e4r im Alltag, ein Tapedeck f\u00fcr Musiker. Genau solche Ger\u00e4te ver\u00e4ndern oft mehr, als sp\u00e4ter erz\u00e4hlt wird. Er erfand sich einfach als eigene Kategorie, irgendwie noch geiler als Musiker. Harmonielehre? Braucht der DJ nicht. Studiotechnik und Keyboard beherrschen? Hat sein Kumpel Achim gemacht, der anfangs keine Ahnung hatte, was gute Musik ist, sp\u00e4ter dann ein gefragter Ghostproducer f\u00fcr alle coolen Dancelabels.<\/p>\n<p>Der DJ war der neue Pop-Gott: er wusste, was Menschen tats\u00e4chlich bewegt: welche Hook bleibt, welcher Song den Raum zu einem Tempel macht, welcher Groove die sch\u00f6nen Menschen auf die Tanzfl\u00e4che treibt. Das war kein Ersatz f\u00fcr Musiker. Das war eine neue Kategorie, die bis heute Bestand hat.<\/p>\n<p>Genau da wird es f\u00fcr KI-Musik interessant.<\/p>\n<p>KI gibt heute wieder Menschen Zugriff auf eine Produktionsmacht, die sie vorher nicht hatten. Ein starker Geschmack, ein klares Bild, ein Gef\u00fchl f\u00fcr Song und Popkultur lassen sich pl\u00f6tzlich schneller in Material \u00fcbersetzen. Stimme, Performance, fetter Mix, Arrangement plausibel.<\/p>\n<p>Aber der DJ-Moment der KI-Musik ist kein Freifahrtschein. Jetzt entscheidet sich, wer h\u00f6ren kann. Und ob es jemanden gibt, der als \u201ePrompt DJ&quot; einmal um die ganze Welt Hits, Gold und Grammys einsammelt, so wie David Guetta in den letzten 20 Jahren.<\/p>\n<p>In einer Welt, in der Material billig wird, wird Urteilskraft teurer. Ganz praktisch: Welche Version bleibt? Welche Hook ist zu glatt? Welche Vocals schreien \u201eKI&quot;? Welche Kick funktioniert nur solo? Wo muss man neu generieren statt zu mischen, wo schneiden, reduzieren, ersetzen?<\/p>\n<div class=\"mbmm-dj-pullquote\" style=\"margin:2rem 0;padding:1.1rem 1.35rem;border-left:4px solid #d32929;background:#f5f2ee;color:#151515;font-size:1.08rem;line-height:1.45;font-weight:520;\">In einer Welt, in der Material billig wird, wird Urteilskraft teurer.<\/div>\n<p><strong>Das ist die Praxisbrille.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Das alte Mix-Handwerk hat sich nicht aufgel\u00f6st, nur weil die Quelle neu ist. Low End bleibt Low End. R\u00e4ume bleiben R\u00e4ume. Dynamik bleibt Dynamik. Ein Vocal muss eine glaubw\u00fcrdige Rolle im Track haben. Ein Arrangement muss Energie f\u00fchren. Ein Mix muss au\u00dferhalb des Prompt-Fensters bestehen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Unterschied ist, dass die Fehler heute anders verpackt sind. Fr\u00fcher klang ein schlechtes Demo oft sofort wie eines. Heute kann ein schwacher KI-Output auf den ersten Blick sehr fertig wirken. Das macht ihn gef\u00e4hrlicher, nicht besser.<\/p>\n<p>Der Vorteil liegt nicht im Tool.
