Mai 2026<\/p>\n<p>Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich einen Social-Media-Post &uuml;ber Suno, KI-Musik und Musikproduktion geschrieben. Der Post war eine Momentaufnahme. Inzwischen ist klarer geworden, wo die eigentliche Verschiebung liegt.<\/p>\n<p>Die einfache Erz&auml;hlung lautet: KI macht Songs auf Knopfdruck, also wird Musikproduktion wertlos. Ich halte das f&uuml;r falsch. Nicht, weil die Tools harmlos sind. Sondern weil sie an einer anderen Stelle Druck erzeugen, als viele zuerst glauben.<\/p>\n<p>Suno, Udio und vergleichbare Systeme machen Output billig. Sie machen Skizzen, Demos, Stilvarianten und fertige Song-Attrappen extrem schnell. Aber genau dadurch wird nicht automatisch Musik wertvoll. Im Gegenteil: Wenn jeder unendlich viel Material erzeugen kann, wird das Erzeugen selbst weniger knapp. Knapp werden Urteil, Identit&auml;t, Rechteklarheit, kulturelle Tiefe und Zugang zum Publikum.<\/p>\n<h2>Die Ausgangslage: Output explodiert, Aufmerksamkeit nicht<\/h2>\n<p>Deezer meldete am 20. April 2026, dass inzwischen rund 44 Prozent der t&auml;glich neu angelieferten Musik als KI-generiert erkannt werden. Das entspricht laut Deezer fast 75.000 KI-Tracks pro Tag. Gleichzeitig schreibt Deezer, dass diese Musik auf der Plattform nur einen sehr kleinen Anteil der Streams ausmacht: zwischen 1 und 3 Prozent. Ein gro&szlig;er Teil dieser Streams wird zudem als betr&uuml;gerisch erkannt und dem monetarisierten Pool entzogen.<\/p>\n<p>Aus Richtung Apple Music wurde ebenfalls berichtet, dass Labels inzwischen erhebliche Mengen vollst&auml;ndig KI-generierter Musik anliefern. Das best&auml;tigt denselben Befund: Die Lieferketten f&uuml;r Musik werden mit synthetischem Material geflutet, w&auml;hrend die eigentliche Knappheit nicht verschwindet, sondern an eine andere Stelle wandert.<\/p>\n<p>Das ist die wichtigste Zahl in der ganzen Debatte. Nicht nur, dass der Upload-Anteil hoch ist. Sondern dass Upload und Nachfrage auseinanderlaufen. Es gibt mehr Musik. Aber nicht automatisch mehr Bedeutung.<\/p>\n<p>Auch die rechtliche Seite ist nicht mehr nur eine theoretische Diskussion. Im Juni 2024 k&uuml;ndigte die RIAA Klagen gegen Suno und Udio an, getragen von Rechteinhabern wie Sony Music, UMG und Warner. Der Vorwurf: unlizenzierte Nutzung urheberrechtlich gesch&uuml;tzter Aufnahmen f&uuml;r Training und Produktbetrieb. Gleichzeitig sieht man seit Ende 2025 die Gegenbewegung: Warner Music Group und Suno haben eine Partnerschaft angek&uuml;ndigt, die fr&uuml;here Rechtsstreitigkeiten zwischen den Unternehmen beendet und auf lizenzierte Modelle, Opt-in und Kontrolle von Name, Bild, Stimme und Kompositionen setzt.<\/p>\n<p>Der Markt bewegt sich also nicht linear in eine Richtung. Konflikt und Legalisierung laufen gleichzeitig. Das ist kein Widerspruch. F&uuml;r Menschen, die nie produziert haben, wirkt das wie ein fertiger Ersatz f&uuml;r ein Studio.<\/p>\n<p>Aber Musikproduktion war nie nur die Frage, ob irgendwo ein klingendes Ergebnis herauskommt. Produktion ist Entscheidung. Was bleibt drin? Was fliegt raus? Welche Energie ist echt? Welche Referenz ist nur Oberfl&auml;che? Wann ist eine Idee stark genug, um sie nicht mit weiteren Optionen totzupolieren?<\/p>\n<p>KI kann Varianten erzeugen. Sie kann L&uuml;cken f&uuml;llen. Sie kann &uuml;berraschend gute Rohformen bauen. Aber sie hat kein eigenes Risiko, keine Karriere, keinen K&ouml;rper, keine Szene, kein Publikum, keine Scham, keine Biografie, keinen Grund, etwas genau jetzt genau so sagen zu m&uuml;ssen.<\/p>\n<p>Das klingt philosophisch, ist aber ein sehr praktischer Punkt. In einem &uuml;berf&uuml;llten Markt wird die Frage nicht &#8222;Kannst du etwas erzeugen?&#8220; sein. Die Frage wird &#8222;Warum sollte jemand genau das von dir h&ouml;ren wollen?&#8220; sein.<\/p>\n<h2>Die echte Verschiebung: Das Mittelfeld wird billiger<\/h2>\n<p>Die erste gro&szlig;e Auswirkung von KI-Musik trifft nicht automatisch die besten Produzenten, Songwriter oder K&uuml;nstler. Sie trifft das austauschbare Mittelfeld: generische Library-Musik, sehr einfache Briefing-Musik, Platzhalter-Demos, Wegwerf-Content, Stilkopien ohne eigene Handschrift, Mood-Varianten f&uuml;r Social Clips.<\/p>\n<p>Dort, wo vorher ein &#8222;gut genug&#8220; bezahlt wurde, wird KI aggressiv. Denn &#8222;gut genug&#8220; ist genau der Bereich, den generative Systeme am leichtesten skalieren. Wenn ein Kunde nur sagt &#8222;mach mir irgendwas in Richtung upbeat corporate pop&#8220;, dann ist die Maschine pl&ouml;tzlich ein harter Wettbewerber.<\/p>\n<p>Das hei&szlig;t nicht, dass Handwerk unwichtig wird. Es hei&szlig;t, dass Handwerk allein nicht mehr reicht, wenn es keine erkennbare Position hat. Wer nur liefert, was ein Prompt auch liefern kann, wird in eine Preisdebatte gezogen. Wer Kontext, Geschmack, Verantwortung und eine wiedererkennbare Haltung liefert, spielt in einem anderen Markt.<\/p>\n<div class=\"codex-ai-music-note\"><strong>Die kurze Version:<\/strong> KI ersetzt nicht automatisch Musikproduktion. Sie ersetzt vor allem schwache Produktdefinition. Je unklarer die k&uuml;nstlerische Identit&auml;t, desto leichter sieht ein KI-Ergebnis gleichwertig aus.<\/div>\n<h2>F&uuml;nf Faktoren, die wertvoll bleiben<\/h2>\n<p>Aus meiner Sicht bleiben f&uuml;nf Faktoren entscheidend. Nicht als romantische Abwehr gegen Technologie, sondern als ziemlich n&uuml;chterne Marktlogik.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Legitimit&auml;t<\/h3>\n<p>Menschen wollen wissen, ob ein Werk aus einem legitimen Kontext kommt. Wurde eine Stimme mit Zustimmung benutzt? Sind Rechte gekl&auml;rt? Ist das K&uuml;nstlerbild echt oder nur eine synthetische Verpackung? Genau deshalb sind die Rechtsstreitigkeiten und Lizenzdeals so wichtig. Sie entscheiden nicht nur &uuml;ber Vergangenes, sondern &uuml;ber Vertrauen in kommende Musikprodukte.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Identit&auml;t<\/h3>\n<p>Eine Stimme ist nicht nur eine Klangfarbe. Ein Artist ist nicht nur ein Avatar. Identit&auml;t besteht aus wiedererkennbaren Entscheidungen &uuml;ber Zeit. FKA twigs hat vor dem US-Senat sehr klar beschrieben, warum Stimme, Bewegung, Bild und k&uuml;nstlerische Pers&ouml;nlichkeit zusammengeh&ouml;ren &#8211; und warum KI nur dann interessant ist, wenn sie unter Kontrolle der K&uuml;nstlerin steht.<\/p>\n<h3>3. Kulturtiefe<\/h3>\n<p>Gute Musik kennt ihre Herkunft. Sie wei&szlig;, welche Codes sie benutzt, welche Geschichte sie ber&uuml;hrt und welche Referenzen sie besser in Ruhe l&auml;sst. KI kann Stile statistisch reproduzieren. Aber kulturelle Verantwortung entsteht nicht aus Wahrscheinlichkeit. Sie entsteht aus Erfahrung, Zugeh&ouml;rigkeit und Urteil.<\/p>\n<h3>4. Produktions-Intuition<\/h3>\n<p>Produktion ist oft die Kunst, nicht alles zu nehmen, was m&ouml;glich ist. Der beste Take ist nicht immer der sauberste. Der beste Sound ist nicht immer der teuerste. Die beste Version ist manchmal die, in der man einen Fehler stehen l&auml;sst, weil er Spannung erzeugt. Diese Art von Intuition kann ein Tool imitieren, aber nicht verantworten.<\/p>\n<h3>5. Distribution<\/h3>\n<p>Der schwierigste Teil wird nicht das Erzeugen sein. Der schwierigste Teil wird sein, mit Musik durch den Nebel zu kommen. Plattformen, Playlists, Fanbeziehungen, Live-Kontext, Newsletter, Community, Rechte, Daten, Marke: Distribution wird wichtiger, nicht unwichtiger. Wenn jeder senden kann, gewinnt nicht automatisch der mit der meisten Datei. Sondern der, dem Menschen einen Platz in ihrem Kopf geben.<\/p>\n<h2>Was die Beispiele zeigen<\/h2>\n<p>Die Beatles sind ein gutes Gegenbeispiel zur einfachen KI-Panik. &#8222;Now and Then&#8220; wurde mit moderner Technologie fertiggestellt, aber nicht als generativer Stimm-Ersatz. Entscheidend war die Trennung und Restaurierung einer echten John-Lennon-Demo. Der Song wurde 2025 mit dem Grammy f&uuml;r Best Rock Performance ausgezeichnet. Das zeigt: Technologie kann kulturellen Wert heben, wenn sie ein reales Werk freilegt, statt Identit&auml;t zu f&auml;lschen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Drake-Fall zeigt die andere Seite. &#8222;Taylor Made Freestyle&#8220; nutzte KI-generierte Stimmen von Tupac Shakur und Snoop Dogg in einem Rap-Konflikt. Nach einer rechtlichen Drohung des Tupac Estate verschwand der Track wieder. Auch hier ist der Punkt nicht nur Technik. Der Punkt ist Zustimmung, Kontext und Pers&ouml;nlichkeitsrecht.<\/p>\n<p>Suno steht wiederum f&uuml;r die Plattformfrage. Das Unternehmen spricht von rund 100 Millionen Creators und baut weiter aus. Gleichzeitig wird klar: Ohne Rechtearchitektur, ohne Lizenzmodelle und ohne Vertrauen der Musikindustrie wird die n&auml;chste Wachstumsphase schwierig. Die Warner\/Suno-Vereinbarung ist deshalb interessanter als jede einzelne Demo. Sie ist ein Werkzeug, das den unteren und mittleren Bereich der Produktionskette massiv beschleunigt. Wer das ignoriert, verliert Anschluss. Wer es &uuml;bersch&auml;tzt, verwechselt Material mit Musik.<\/p>\n<p>Praktisch bedeutet das: Skizzen werden schneller. Referenzen werden pr&auml;ziser. Songwriting-Optionen werden billiger. Aber der Wert liegt danach in der Selektion. Welcher Ansatz passt zum K&uuml;nstler? Welche Zeile klingt nach Wahrheit und welche nach Template? Welche Hook ist stark, aber falsch f&uuml;r diese Person? Welcher Sound ist nur beeindruckend, und welcher erz&auml;hlt tats&auml;chlich etwas?<\/p>\n<p>In meinem nahen Umfeld arbeitet eine sehr junge Songwriterin mit erstaunlich klarer eigener Perspektive. Genau an solchen F&auml;llen sieht man den Unterschied. KI kann ihr helfen, Ideen schneller zu testen. Aber sie ersetzt nicht die Frage, was diese Person wirklich sagen will. Wenn ein Tool die Reibung entfernt, muss der Mensch umso klarer wissen, welche Reibung bleiben muss.<\/p>\n<p>Das ist auch der Grund, warum ich auf Mixed by Marc Mozart weiter &uuml;ber Mixing, Produktion und Entscheidungsf&auml;higkeit schreibe. Die Tools werden schneller. Aber gute Musikproduktion war immer schon mehr als Bedienung. Sie war immer auch ein Filter.<\/p>\n<h2>Meine aktuelle Arbeitsthese<\/h2>\n<p>KI wird Musik nicht abschaffen. KI wird durchschnittliche Musikproduktion entwerten und gleichzeitig starke Identit&auml;t wertvoller machen.<\/p>\n<p>Wer nur Output verkauft, wird unter Druck geraten. Wer Orientierung verkauft, wird wichtiger. Wer nur ein Genre imitiert, wird austauschbar.
